Are you a person who is attentive and flexible with a positive attitude? Then you might be our next educator! Storängsskolan is now looking for several licensed teachers for after-school care.

Storängsskolan is a school that has a strong commitment and joy in work. We see opportunities to create a good learning environment together with the students that instills safety and well-being.

What can we offer you?

At Storängsskolan, there are about 420 students from preschool class to grade 6. As a teacher in after-school care, you will carry out educational activities that stimulate the students' development and learning. You will work closely with the students and support them in their social development. You will have the opportunity to be part of our team that works to create a safe and inspiring environment for the students.

Your future tasks

You will become part of the team responsible for the after-school care activities for grades F–6. The work as a teacher in after-school care includes significant value-based work to develop students in social contexts. You will also work integrated into the school activities during school hours together with the class teachers in grades F–6. This means co-planning, implementing, and evaluating school and after-school activities. We work in teams, and for us, joy in work and collaboration are important guiding principles. We want to create a holistic view of the student's development and learning together.

The role also involves

We wish for you to be pedagogical and encourage dialogue, participation, and engagement, and want to help develop our after-school care. You have the ability to create safety and trust both with the students and their parents.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are a licensed teacher in after-school care and have experience in:

  • working in after-school care
  • organized outdoor activities/recess activities
  • clarifying pedagogy and low-arousal responses
  • working with students with disabilities

You have an interest in creating a school together with us where students feel safety and curiosity, to develop their abilities under good conditions. As a person, you have an inclusive approach and meet each student based on their individual circumstances and needs.

We prefer that you have a teaching license for after-school care and good communication skills in both spoken and written language. You have a solution-focused approach. We place great importance on personal suitability.

We will conduct interviews continuously during the application period.
